Haryana: 3 Independent MLAs extend support to BJP

Chandigarh, Oct 9 (UNI) All three newly-elected independent Members of Legislative Assembly in Haryana have extended support to the the BJP which has won a majority in the 90-member Assembly, the saffron party announced on Wednesday.
Savitri Jindal, Devendra Kadiyan and Rajesh Joon, elected from Hisar, Ganaur and Bahadurgarh respectively have pledged support to the BJP and the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the party said on
its official X handle.
Notably, Jindal and Kadiyan contested elections after they were denied tickets by the BJP and Joon is
a Congress rebel.
The BJP has won 48 seats, three more than the majority mark of 45, and with the support of these
three legislators, the ruling party will enjoy the support of 51 members in the Assembly, the party said.
