Harshvardhan Sapkal slams Devendra Fadnavis, alleges BJP links to Epstein files

Nagpur, Feb 15 (UNI) Maharashtra Congress Chief Harshvardhan Sapkal on Sunday echoed the allegations levelled by party leaders in Delhi regarding links of some BJP leaders with the late American financier, child sex offender and trafficker Jeffrey Epsrein.
Talking to mediapersons here, he alleged that Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis was trying to divert attention from pressing issues in the state by criticising him over his statement comparing Tipu Sultan with Chhatrapati Shivaji without understanding the context in which he had spoken.
Instead of addressing pressing issues in the state and reports of names of some BJP leaders figuring in the Epstein files, he was being targeted by BJP over his remarks on Tipu Sultan, Sakpal said. Sapkal claimed the BJP is deflecting public attention from pressing state issues by creating controversy over historical figures.
