Hamirpur's daughter Manisha to showcase her talent in international competition

Hamirpur(HP), Oct 18 (UNI) Hamirpur athletes are overcome with joy, as Manisha Kumari, a runner from the remote village of Utpur in Hamirpur district, will now showcase her talent at the international level.
Manisha Kumari will represent India in the women's 4x400m event at the South Asian Athletics Championships, starting October 24th at the Birsa Munda Stadium in Ranchi.
Manisha, a resident of the remote village of Utpur in Hamirpur district, comes from a humble family. Her father, Ramesh Chand, is a truck driver, and her mother, Sheela Devi, is a homemaker. Having been raised in humble circumstances, Manisha has successfully overcome many obstacles to make her mark at the international level.
