Hamirpur registers five fresh COVID infections, tally reaches 98

Hamirpur, May 29 (UNI) With the detection of five new cases of Novel Coronavirus on Thursday, the total number of infections in the district rose to 98, including one death and 88 cured persons.
Deputy Commissioner Harikesh Meena said that these five persons were under institutional quarantine at different centers and their sample reports were collected on May 26. The results came out positive this morning, he added.
The fresh cases include three males and two females, Mr Meena said, adding that the persons were being shifted to District Covid care centers for treatment and isolation and their primary contacts were also being traced.
