Hamirpur police arrest two with six grams of Chitta

Hamirpur(HP), Feb 16 (UNI) Hamirpur police have arrested two persons named Ravinder Singh of Duyad village and Amit Kumar of Dadoh village, and confiscated six grams of chitta from them.
SP, Hamirpur Balbir Singh said on Monday that during a random check, a pick-up vehicle was searched and during the checking, chitta was found kept therein.
He said that a case under relevant sections of the NDPS Act has been registered, and an investigation is underway.

Dehradun, March 5 (UN) Uttarakhand has witnessed more than 50 percent rise in GSDP growth as its annual growth rate is projected more than eight percent while poverty in the Himalayan state is down by 2.8 percent in the last 4 years. Annual growth projected for the state in 2026-27 will be 8.2 percent.
