HAFED to tie up with HAU to promote use of bio-fertilisers for improving soil health

Chandigarh, Jul 2 (UNI) Haryana State Cooperative Supply and Marketing Federation Limited (HAFED) has decided to tie-up with Haryana Agricultural University, Hisar to make available good quality bio-fertilisers to the farmers and to promote the use of bio-fertilisers for improving soil health as well as boosting Agriculture Production.
Stating this here on Thursday, an official spokesman of HAFED said that use of these bio-fertilisers by farmers will lead to better germination for robust and healthy crop growth which will result in saving of 20-25 per cent of chemical fertilisers like urea.
He said that the bio-fertilisers would be made available through the sale outlets of HAFED, Cooperative Marketing Societies, and PACS under tripartite MoU between HAFED, Haryana Agricultural University, and Habitat Genome Improvement Primary Producer Company.
