New Delhi, Apr 30 (UNI) Bollywood actor Pulkit Samrat said he is lucky enough to explore different kinds of roles and is open to every kind of genre.

Talking to UNI, Pulkit who was in the national capital recently to celebrate 'India Khakhi Week,' said 'Right now in my career where I stand, I am lucky enough to have luxury to explore different kinds of roles. And that's what I am doing right now."

'I am not stubborn on things like I only want to do comedies, or romance. I am open to every kind of genre right now. Whatever offer comes and excites me, I will take up,' Pulkit said.

Whether he prefers comic or serious characters, Pulkit said he is still exploring himself, while doing different kind of genres.

'Maybe five years down the line, I would answer this question more easily, in the sense that I might have played with different kinds of genres and understand that this genre works for me, or this genre doesn't work for me. So, it's just a learning process for me right now,' the 'Fukrey' fame actor said.

If he gets affected by the success or failure of films, the actor said he doesn’t really takes it seriously.

“I really don’t take it too seriously. The only mantra in life to be successful is you keep working. Something will find way to success. Something will find way to slide down. But they will teach you a lot. So yeah that’s how you take it,” he said.

The actor said he is very happy with the kind his career is shaping up right now.

Talking about biopics, Pulkit said he would want to be a part of veteran actor Rajesh Khanna’s biopic.

“We share the same birthday. Rajesh Khanna is the reason that the term ‘superstar’ was coined. His films, music- - I thinks it’s the most melodious music. He has an amazing body of work,” Pulkit said.

Talking about the web medium, Pulkit said,” I have done a friendly appearance for Excel’s next show on Amazon directed by Zoya Akhtar. I have done one episode of that show.”

When asked about his view of love, Pulkit said, 'It can strike you anytime, anywhwere, with anybody and any sex.'
