GVMC Commissioner warns against dumping waste in open places

Visakhapatnam, May 15 (UNI) Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation Commissioner Ketan Garg on Friday directed Public Health officials to ensure cent per cent waste collection across the city and warned that negligence in sanitation management would not be tolerated.
As part of his field inspection, the Commissioner reviewed sanitation works in Gollalapalem and other areas under Ward No. 61 in the West Zone.
Speaking on the occasion, Ketan Garg said he had observed waste being dumped on roads, in colonies and at several open locations across the city.
