GV Raja sports school embarks on a big revamp, Minister launches work on projects over Rs 15 cr

Thiruvananthapuram, Feb 13 (UNI) Kerala’s premier sports education institution G V Raja Sports School is all set for a major revamp of its infrastructure with Minister for Industries, Sports and Youth Affairs E P Jayarajan launching work on projects totalling more than Rs 15 crore on its campus at Aruvikkara near here on February 15.
The works to be completed within the time-frame of one year include laying of synthetic track of international standards, a synthetic hockey turf and building a synthetic football turf on the campus.
With the completion of these projects, the premier sports school that has moulded many of state ’s sports personalities will be fully equipped to meet the present and future requirements, including hosting of key events and imparting training to budding talents in a host of disciplines.
