Guv briefed about SSB's deployment, internal security duties in Kashmir

Srinagar, Sep 2 (UNI) Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) Director General (DG) Archana Ramasundram today briefed Governor N N Vohra about the armed forces’ deployment and internal security duties in Kashmir, where the ongoing unrest has left 72 civilians dead and over 6000 injured since July9.
An official spokesperson here this evening said that Mrs Ramasundram and DG Civil Defence met the Governor at the Raj Bhavan here today.
“DG Ramasundram briefed the Governor about the SSB’s deployment and internal security duties in the Valley,” he said.
