Gurugram-Faridabad road near Bandhwari will be fastest route between IGI airport & Jewar airport : Dushyant

Chandigarh, Apr 2 (UNI) Haryana Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala said that with the construction of a four-lane flyover near Gurugram-Faridabad Road near Bandhwari village, it will be the fastest route between Indira Gandhi International Airport and Jewar Airport.
In the coming days, this road will set a new record for transport and trade, Mr Chautala said while interacting with media persons on Friday after inaugurating a four-lane flyover constructed near village Bandhwari on Gurugram-Faridabad road in Gurugram district. The new flyover constructed at a cost of about Rs 11.5 crore is 514 meters in length and 21 meters in width and has been completed in just 21 months.
Public Works Department has constructed this flyover in 21 months to make the main crossing between Faridabad and Gurugram ‘stop free’. Apart from this intersection, there are two other intersections on Faridabad Gurugram Marg, which will be revamped after holding talks with NHAI, he said and added that both the cities of Faridabad and Gurugram are the main business and industrial centers of Haryana therefore road connectivity between these two cities should certainly be made better.
Answering a question regarding collapsing of two slabs of an under-construction flyover on the Dwarka Expressway, the Deputy Chief Minister said that taking cognizance of this, a 10-member committee has been formed by NHAI which will submit its report in about 10 days. If irregularities are found, then strict action will be taken against the concerned person.
He said that the state government is working on the project to start the Metro Rail service between Faridabad and Gurugram. When this service starts, Bandhwari will also be a station on that line.
