Gujarat CM welcomes SC verdict on Ayodhya

Gandhinagar, Nov 9 (UNI) Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani on Saturday welcomed the decision of the Supreme Court on Ayodhya issue.

Talking to newsmen, Rupani said that all the five judges of the Supreme Court bench had given an unanimous decision. 'We welcome this decision and also congratulate the judges for such a decision which has ended years old dispute,' he said.

'The verdict will play a big role in the unity and integrity of the nation,' he added.



The CM said that he appealed the people also to honour the decision and make India one and excellent by maintaining the peace and brotherhood.



Notably, security has been increased in all the communally sensitive areas in Ahmedabad and other cities and towns in Gujarat as a precautionary measure in the wake of the incident. Rapid Action Force and other forces have also conducted flag march in such areas to instill confidence among common citizens.
