New Delhi, Jan 8 (UNI) In yet another bid for taking the opposition in confidence over the contentious GST Bill, Parliamentary Affairs Minister M Venkaiah Naidu today held discussion with former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and Congress Chief Sonia Gandhi. "Met Sonia ji and Manmohan Singh ji over GST Bill, they had raised three issues which have been addressed by the Finance Minister", Mr Naidu told media persons. "They said they will discuss it within themselves and take a final decision", the minister said. The vital tax reform legislation has already passed by the Lok Sabha but has been still pending in the Rajya Sabha where the Congress is opposing it. The Government has held rounds of discussion with the leaders of the principal opposition party during past few months. In November, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had held "Chai-Par-Charcha" over the issue with Mr Singh and Ms Gandhi during the winter session of Parliament. Finance Minister Arun Jaitley had also held meetings with Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi, Ghulam Nabi Azad, Anand Sharma and others. UNI SS ADG 1148
