Entertainment » OtherPosted at: Jan 16 2016 6:30PM Green Tribunal directs Adani Hazira Port to pay Rs 25 cr aid to fishermenAhmedabad/Puducherry, Jan 16 (UNI) National Green Tribunal today directed the Adani-Hazira Port and Hazira Infrastructures Pvt Ltd to pay Rs 25 crore in four weeks towards compensation and restoration of damages to the environment. The NGT’s directive came in response to the case filed by the Hazira Machchimaar Samiti challenging Environmental Clearance (EC) granted by the Ministry of Environment and Forest (MoEF) in 2013, for further development of Port activities at Hazijra in Surat.
