Granules India Q2 consolidated net jumps by 70.82 pc to Rs. 163.63 crore

Mumbai, Oct 20 (UNI) Granules India has reported a rise of 70.82 pc in its consolidated net profit for the quarter ended September 30, 2020 at Rs 163.63 crores as against net profit of Rs 95.79 crores for the quarter ended September 30, 2019.
Total income for the quarter under review advance by 21.62 pc to Rs 861.34 crores as compared to Rs 708.20 crores for the quarter ended September 30, 2019.
Commenting on the results, Mr. Krishna Prasad Chigurupati, Chairman & Managing Director of Granules India Limited, said "I am pleased to announce second consecutive robust performance by all our business segments, fuelled the 22.7 pc growth in Q2FY21 Revenues to INR 858 Cr. Our long-term investments in backward and forward integration from APIs to FDs are helping us in delivering expected results as demonstrated by the 22 pc growth in our produce."
