Grand finale of sixth edition of IKFW to be held on Oct 28

New Delhi, Oct 28 (UNI) The much-awaited sixth edition of India Kids Fashion Week (IKFW) which debuted with its first event of the year in Delhi, is all set to conclude with a grand finale in Mumbai on Sunday.

With successful events across the country- from Delhi to Bengaluru, Ahmedabad, Kolkata, Chandigarh and Hyderabad, this seven-day fashion extravaganza for kidswear brands and designers will conclude with a grand finale.

The first of its kind event- IKFW is one of the biggest platforms for brands and designers to showcase their kidswear collection, will see juniors from four-14 yrs sashay down the ramp in breath-taking creations and celebrate fashion in its best form.

Jabong.com, the fashion clothing e-tailer is on board as a sponsor for the coveted event.

Manoj Mahla, Director, Craftworld Events, said, “India Kids Fashion Week is the perfect platform for emerging as well as established designers and brands to showcase their creativity in the booming children’s apparel space. The kidswear market was estimated at Rs 66,000 crore and is expected to grow further in the coming years.”

“Tapping the potential many international players have entered the space as well. Realising that consumers are more aware and in tune with the latest trends, brands are combining sustainability with fashion to cater to the bespoke apparel needs of the little ones. With IKFW, our endeavour is to bring together the best and most reputed fashion brands and designers in the country,” Mr Mahla said.

With over 70 plus designers and brands their collections in this edition, the Mumbai finale will see a range of exquisite collections from Kirti Rathore, Cute Coutrue, Little Secrets, Tales & Stories, Imagica, Puddles, BIBA Girls and Jabong. Renowned designer Archana Kochhar has been named as the grand finale designer for the India Kids Fashion Week.

IKFW, a joint initiative of Craftworld and Event Capital, is a signature affair to position India on the map of the fashion industry for kids.

In the past three seasons, the event has witnessed the presence of some of B-Town biggies including Karisma Kapoor, Genelia D’Souza, Sushmita Sen, Dia Mirza, Sohail Khan, Vivek Oberoi, Neil Nitin Mukesh and Mandira Bedi who walked the ramp to encourage the mini style icons and make the event a grand success.
