Govt to start conducting antibody test: Goa CM

Panaji, Jul 6 (UNI) Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant on Monday said that in order to tackle Covid-19 crises especially in the Containment Zone at Mangor Hill, antibody test will be carried out commencing from Mangor Hill in Mormugao Taluka.
The Chief Minister, who chaired a High level meeting held at Secretariat, Porvorim, convened to discuss and decide further plan of action as regards to Containment Zone at Mangor Hill, Vasco, said antibody test if conducted will help detect those infected with Corona Virus infection and further mentioned that it will be the test for antibody in the blood and it is immune for life time.
The meeting was also attended by Minister for Panchayati Raj Mauvin Godinho, MLA’s J L Carlos Almeida and Alina Saldanha, Chief Secretary Parimal Rai, IAS, Secretary Health Nila Mohanan, DGP, Mukesh Kumar Meena, Collector South Ajit Roy, IAS, Councillors of Mormugao Municipal Council and other senior officers of various Government Departments.
