Govt to spend over Rs 7 cr for upkeep of BSA schools in UP's Basti

Basti, Aug 10 (UNI) In view of the maintenance of the buildings of the primary and junior high schools run by the Basic Shiksha Parishad, over Rs 7 crore will be spent in this Uttar Pradesh district, official sources said on Monday.
As per sources here, the government will spend Rs 7 crore, 73 lakhs, 62 thousand, 500 for the purchase of paintings, electricity equipments for the buildings of the primary and junior high schools for their maintenance and upkeep in the district.
The fund has been provided by the government as a composite grant for making the 2,385 schools of the Basic Shiksha Parishad attractive in the district.
