New Delhi, Oct 26 (UNI) The Centre will set up two container-based mobile hospitals for dealing with a surge of patients during a calamity or health emergency.
Each fleet of the mobile hospital will comprise 22 containers, which could be moved by road, railway and air.
The initiative is the first in South Asia, and will be equipped with highly advanced technologies, in compliance with the World Health Organization's guidelines, according to the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
