Govt to begin Prabhodhankar Thackeray study centre at every university: Min Samant

Kolhapur, Jan 25 (UNI) Maharashtra higher and technical education minister Uday Samant on Monday said that the state government has decided to start a "Adhyasan Kendra" ( study centre) at every university in the name of 'Prabhodhankar' Thackeray.
Mr Samant, while inaugurating venture of "Uccha Aani Tantra Shikshan Mantralaya Kolhapur-Ratnagiri" ( Higher and Technical education ministry in Kolhapur), which was first in the state, at Shivaji University campus, to resolve the difficulties of students, guardians, teachers, principals and education institutions in this division, said the government would start a Prabhodhankar Thackeray study centre at every universities in the state.
Mr Samant said that district collector Daulat Desai has approved to give ten acre of land for education complex in disputed border area between Maharashtra and Karnataka.
