Govt spreading wrong information to public on COVID-19 in UT : BJP prez alleges

Puducherry, Jun 6 (UNI) BJP Puducherry Unit President V Saminathan MLA on Saturday alleged that the government is spreading false information to the public on Coronavirus pandemic in the Union Territory.
In a statement here, Mr Saminathan also alleged that COVID-19 tests are not being conducted to the people and this will severely affect them in future.
He condemned the act of throwing the body of a man into the pit who died of COVID-19.
The body was thrown into the pit without any coffin or any cover as if throwing a garbage.
He said when the bodies are being buried in a proper way in other parts of the country and in Chennai, throwing the body into the pit as if it is an unknown body and without the presence of any of the relatives of the deceased shows the inhuman attitude of the government.
People who witnessed the video on whatsapp have panicked, Mr Saminthan said.
