Govt 'shocked' over Christchurch shootout, ascertaining details

New Delhi, Mar 15 (UNI) The government of India on Friday said Indian Mission in New Zealand is in touch with local authorities to ascertain details of the Christchurch shootout and said necessary arrangements have been made for assisting the concerned people.
The government sources said further information are being ascertained, but nothing can be said about missing people as of now.
Meanwhile, in a tweet, Indian High Commission in New Zealand said, "We are shocked to hear about the shooting in Christchurch.
"Any Indians needing assistance should contact us at 021803899 or 021850033".
Gunmen opened fire inside two mosques in Christchurch during afternoon prayers on Friday killing at least 49 people and injuring several.
