Govt procuring required number of ventilators in dist hopitals: K'taka Edu Min

Tumkur, Sep 19 (UNI) Karnataka Medical Education Minister K Sudhakar on Saturday said that the government is aware of the shortage of ventilators in some districts hospitals and it has been tasked with procuring a sufficient number of ventilators on priority and has put out a tender for the same, crucial to treat people infected by COVID-19.
Addressing media here, Mr Sudhakar said on Saturday, “Ventilator shortage has been an issue that the government has been closely monitoring, and several steps are being taken to ensure hospitals are well equipped, we are already supplying ventilators where the demand is high."
