Govt permits daily five shows for "Bahubali 2",a Telugu action flick

Hyderabad, Apr 24 (UNI) The Telugu action flick "Bahubali-2",eagerly awaited by young cineasts, has been accorded permission by the Telangana government to hold five shows daily in cinemas in the state.
The decision followed a request by Devineni Prasad , producer of the film, slated for release on April 28, to Cinematography Minister T Srinivas Yadav in this regard.
Prasad met the Minister today to invite the latter for the special screening of the film and urged Mr.Yadav to permit more shows for the film.
Mr.Yadav said that the government would extend all possible help to the film in view of the acclaim won by the earlier version of the "Bahubali'.
The first part of the film is said to have been well-received in different parts of the world for its top class visual effects.
The AP Government had already permitted six shows for the film but received flak for the same from the CPI which said the government was overtly supporting the corporate sector by allowing six shows of the multi-crore movie made by a big media house.
The party said the government should show the same interest in struggling progressive and small-budget film-makers.
