Govt keen on developing sheep rearing as big industry in State

Hyderabad, Jan 15 (UNI) Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao today said the government was keen on developing Sheep Rearing as a big industry in the State.
At a review meeting here, the Chief Minister said both -- fisheries and sheep rearing will play a major role in revamping the rural economy in the State. He wanted the Telangana State to become one of the major exporters of the Sheep meat to other states and countries.
In this context, the Chief Minister announced that a Cabinet Sub Committee under the Chairmanship of Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav will constituted to prepare a comprehensive plan of action on the development of fisheries and Sheep rearing.
