Vijayawada, Oct 21 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy said that the state government is giving top priority to provide security to women and asked the police officers not to compromise in oppressing the anti-social elements.
Paying tributes to the martyrs who made the supreme sacrifice to protect the law and order, on the occasion of Police Commemoration Day, held in the IGMC stadium here on Wednesday, the Chief Minister appreciated the hard work of police personnel to check the spread of Coronavirus.
He paid tributes to those who died due to the pandemic.
