Govt forms Task Force committee for next three Olympics

New Delhi, Jan 30 (UNI) In a bid to prepare action plan for the next three Olympic games, the Union Sports Ministry today constituted an eight-member Task Force committee, which has been approved by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The committee includes legends like Olympic gold medallist Abhinav Bindra, Prakash Padukone, who are also members of the government's Target Olympic Podium (TOP) scheme, beside others.
According to Sports Minister Vijay Goel, the objective of the committee will be to suggest a comprehensive action plan including short-term, medium term and long-term measures for effective participation of Indian sportspersons in the next three Olympic Games.
