New Delhi, Nov 12(UNI) Alleging that the NDA Government at the Centre was eying the RBI reserves to dole out sops in the election season to please its favourite capitalists, the Congress on Monday said that it was trying to carry out pjase two of demonetisation through the ‘back door’.
Talking to reporters here, AICC spokesperson Abhishek Manu Singhvi said,’’ Modi Government wants to distribute RBI Reserves , which are Nation’s Social Wealth , to its Crony Friends.
‘Modi Made Disaster of Demonetisation’ shaved off 1.5 per cent of India’s GDP and severely denigrated the institutional autonomy of the RBI. Now, PM Modi plans Demonetisation Part -2 that will again shave off 2 per cent of India’s GDP in one shot. According to public information, the Government is coercing RBI to pay a special dividend of Rs 3.6 lakh crore, equal to nearly 40 percent of reserves accumulated over decades.
