Govt drafting new policy which may lead to relocation of casinos in Goa: Assembly told

Panaji, Feb 21 (UNI) Goa Public Works Deparment (PWD) Minister Sudin Dhavalikar on Wednesday told State Assembly that the government was drafting a new policy which may lead to relocation of casinos in the state to an airport project which is coming up in North Goa.
“On casinos, we have made a policy. Where the airport is there, some lands have been given. Lands have been given for them an entertainment (zone). This was done before, not now. How that will be implemented and how they (casinos) will be going there will have to be seen,” he said.
"We are making a policy. Whether they shift their operations there I did not speak about. Whether they take it there or not will be decided later,” Dhavalikar said.
