Govt, CPI-M target Mamata for Darjeeling violence: "Peace pre-requisite for talks"

New Delhi, Jul 21 (UNI) The Central Government today lashed out at the West Bengal Chief Minister and Trinamool Congress chief Mamata Banerjee for the unrest in Darjeeling and said it is her "attitude and handling" of the situation that set the peaceful hills on fire.

Virtually agreeing with the CPI-M member, Mohammed Salim, who said the situation is serious, the Parliamentary Affairs Minister Ananth Kumar said in Lok Sabha that the situation has turned serious and the Centre was concerned about the situation in Darjeeling Hills.
