Entertainment » OtherPosted at: Sep 1 2016 10:56PM Govt committed to provide better health facilities to people of Goa: CMPanaji, Sep 1 (UNI) Maintaining that the state government was committed to provide better health facilities to the people of Goa, Chief Minister Laxmikant Parsekar said today an amount of Rs 4,500 crore will be spent to construct superspeciality hospitals in the state. Speaking after launching the unique Deen Dayal Swasthya Seva Yojana (DDSSY), a scheme to provide universal health cover through insurance for the entire people of Goa, he said the government had already initiated efforts to ensure that the benefit of health care facilities were availed by rural populace on par with urban population.
