New Delhi, Aug 15 (UNI) Noting that education was vital in building a self-reliant, modern New India, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday said his Government had succeeded in providing the country with a new National Education Policy after three decades.
Speaking on the newly-launched National Education Policy 2020 during his speech on India's 74th Independence Day from Red Fort's ramparts here, the PM said it would connect students with their roots and alongside, it would help them become global citizens.
"The students will be well-rooted and still touching new heights," he added.
