Govind Pansare Murder Case: Court extends suspect Digvekar's police custody till Jan 28

Kolhapur, Jan 23 (UNI) The Judicial Magistrate S S Raul on Wednesday sent Amit Ramchandra Digvekar to another six days of police custody in the murder case of Communist Party of India(CPI) senior leader Govind Pansare.
The Special Investigation Team(SIT) detained the 35-year-old accused on January 15 from the Bengaluru Central Prison,where he was serving jail for his alleged involvement in the murders of Dr Narendra Dabholkar and Journalist Gauri Lankesh.
At that instance,the accused Digvekar was remanded to nine-day police custody which expired on January 23.
