Gorakhpur can emerge as educational hub of eastern UP: Yogi

Gorakhpur, Dec 4 (UNI) Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Sunday said that as Uttar Pradesh moves ahead on becoming number one economy of the country, Gorakhpur has the potential to emerge as a major educational and medical hub as well as a tourism centre of eastern UP.
Addressing Prabuddha Jan Sammelan following the inauguration and stone laying of projects worth Rs 950 crore, Yogi said that the state Government is looking at attracting an investment of Rs 10 lakh crore and creating employment for 1 crore youths of the state through the Global Investors Summit 2023.
The projects that were launched included expanding the Deoria-Gorakhpur Bypass from two lanes to four-lanes, building a flyover on the bypass, setting up sewage treatment plant and increasing awareness of people about encephalitis
