Gopinath takes charge as TTD new CVSO

Tirumala, Nov 9 (UNI) Mr Gopinath Jetti took charge as the new Chief Vigilance and Security Officer (CVSO) of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) here on Friday.

After assuming charge, Gopinath worshipped Lord Venkateswara.

Later in Ranganayakula Mandapam, he was offered Vedasirvachanam by vedic scholars.

Tirumala Joint Executive Officer KS Sreenivasa Raju offered teertha prasadams and laminated photo of Lord to Gopinath.

Later speaking to media, the new CVSO said with his past experience as Urban Superintendent of Police of TTD and now as CVSO of TTD, he will try his best to offer better services to the multitude of visiting pilgrims.

The safety and security of pilgrims is our top priority and we will ensure it, he maintained.
