Raipur/Bilaspur (Chhattisgarh), Nov 12 (UNI) Good and to an extent 'beyond expectations' percentage of voting in Naxal-hit region of Chhattisgarh will help BJP put up a better show in the remaining 72 assembly constituencies, which go to the polls on November 20, local BJP leaders and analysts say.
According to local citizenry in the state, all eyes were on for polling in onetime Maoists' stronghold Dantewade, Bijapur, Sukma and Narayanpur districts those went to polls on Monday.
Overall voting turnout was at around 70 per cent. In the first phase, voting was held in 18 of the 90 Assembly seats in Chhattisgarh.
