Golden Tigers defeated CAG by 23 runs, ton by Sagun Kamat

Panaji, Mar 13( UNI) A scintillating knock of century plus( 108) studded with 14x4,5x6 in 60b) by man of the match Sagun Kamat and his 153 runs partnership for the first wicket with Amog Dessai 43( 3x6) guided host team Golden Tigers to score 23 runs win over CAG in the Goa Cricket Association( GCA) corporate league cricket tournament match being played at Cricket Academy ground porvoim in north Goa today.
The CAG, after winning the toss elected to field and put host Goa team Golden Tigers into the bat. Host team piled up 180 lossing their 6 wickets in allotted 20 overs on the strength of Sagun Kamat’s fine century and Amgo Desai’s valuable 43 and after yielding 153 runs partershipfor the first wicket. Later another five wicket fell at regular intervals and folded their inning with a total score of 180 for 6 in 20 overs.
Imtiaz Ahmed and Gurinder singh claimed two wickets each giving away 35 and 25 runs respectively for the visitors.
