Entertainment » OtherPosted at: Jan 13 2016 6:17PM Gogoi claims proof of BJP-RSS link in Barpeta Satra incidentGuwahati, Jan 13 (UNI) Assam Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi today said the Assam government has definite evidence suggesting involvement of RSS and BJP workers in the incident of preventing Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi’s entry into Barpeta Satra. In a statement here, Gogoi said after inquiring into the entire episode, the Assam Government has access to a definite proof of RSS and BJP workers’ involvement in instigating a section of people against the entry of Gandhi in Barpeta Satra. In view of this, Mr Gogoi said the 'satra' and other religious institutions should not be used for narrow political gains and should be left for religious and spiritual activities only. The Congress had alleged that the RSS had orchestrated opposition to Mr Gandhi's visit to the Barpeta Satra (Vashnavite monastery) last month.
