Bengaluru, Jan 22(UNI) The Mumbai based real Estate giant Godrej Properties will launch an unique Residential property in the city, integrated with a fully sustainable water management system.
Addressing a press conference here on Tuesday, Mr Uday Bhaskar, Business Head, South, Godrej Properties, said that “it is the first of its kind of a residential project aims to revolutionize residential water management in Bengaluru”.
Stating that the 540-flats new residential project, which would come up in an area of about 7.19 acres, strategically located at Bellary road, a premium residential Area, in the city, he said that “the residents will get pure drinking water at all times and recycle most of the water on site. The Bellary road micro-market has emerged as one of the fastest growing residential areas of Bengaluru with a lot of infrastucture developments and projects coming up in the area”.
Maintaining that the new project will introduce an advanced Treatment Plant, centralized RO and Water softening facility to ensure high grade quality of water, he said that “it will be an unique pilot project and would be rolled out as a model to other parts of the country in all the future projects”.
He said that using the Recharge, Reduce and Recycle principle, the project aims to ensure that water sufficiency in every home would be a reality and that’s well within reach.
Replying to questions, he said that “the 540-flats Godrej Acqua project, is expected to be ready by 2022 and the 2 BHK may cost between to Rs 55 to Rs 60 lakh per unit”.
He said that the unique project, comes up with the integrated water management system, may add up to the project cost, but we are not looking at cost prospective, but to address the perennial concerns regarding water quality in residential projects.
