Godrej Locks announces launch of 'Advantis'

Hyderabad, Sep 18 (UNI) Godrej Locks, a leading manufacturer of innovative locking devices, on Wednesday announced the launch of a revolutionary locking solution ‘Advantis’.

Advantis, a technologically advanced digital locks, which available in four variants - Advantis Revolution, Advantis Technosure, Advantis Rimtronic and Advantis Crystal - , offering the highest level of security, technology and design, the company claimed in a release.

The Advantis range of locks is high in its style quotient and is packed with space-age like features which are simple to use. A door can be opened with a single touch as Advantis comes with a 360-degree fingerprint sensor along with a touch screen.

This system provides the highest level of security as everyone’s fingerprint is unique, the release said.

Through the Advantis range, one can have 4 unique passwords for different members of up to 4- 12 digits. However, in case of emergency, the lock can be opened with a mechanical key.

Advantis is the high-tech lock that works well for everyone, be it kids or elders.

Commenting on the launch of the new digital locks range, Godrej Locks EVP and Business Head, Shyam Motwani, said, “With the launch of Advantis, our larger objective is to equip Indians with superior digital locking solutions. We are focusing on digital locks to meet the increasing demand for aesthetically appealing and technologically advanced branded smart locks.
The demand of digital locks is largely in metros but the penetration of locks as a category is increasing in tier III-IV cities, he said.

Advantis added safety feature is the adjustable spycode where random numbers can be added before or after the password in the presence of strangers to maintain secrecy. For multiple user access 100 RFID smart cards can be registered with Advantis, he said.

One of the most crucial feature is the Fire Sensor which automatically unlocks the door in case of a fire; this helps save precious minutes as help can be offered by opening the door from outside, Mr Motwani added.

This advanced digital locks price ranges from Rs 25,000 to Rs 43,000.
