Godrej Interio to open 104 showrooms across India by March 2025

Hyderabad, Sep 20 (UNI) Godrej Interio, one of India’s leading home and office furniture brands and a part of Godrej & Boyce, on Friday announced to open 104 showrooms across the country by March, 2025 as against the present 1014 showrooms in the country.
Speaking on the importance of the southern market to reporters here, Dev Sarkar, Senior Vice President and Head of Consumer Business (B2C) at Godrej Interio, said that we are opening at least two showrooms every week.
Of the total showrooms, most of the showrooms are in the franchise model, he said that we are expecting to grow 25 percent revenue against the Rs 3,200 crore revenue achieved last year.
Our export market last year was Rs 500 crore, Sarkar said that our main focus now is on the south
India market and we are planning to open 25 new showrooms and 150 retail outlets in the next three years in Telangana for further strengthening its omni channel network.
As consumer demand increases ahead of the festive season, Godrej Interio has strengthened its retail presence, to ensure a greater accessibility and a seamless buying experience for its customers. The brand has over 14 showrooms, 55 dealers, and 25 retailers in Telangana and cumulatively, they have 250 plus channel partners across South India, he informed.
The company has a strong brand recall and significant customer base throughout the country, the Senior Vice President said with a 21 percent market share in the organized home furniture sector in Telangana, we are targeting 30 percent share by 2027.
As we approach the festive season, we are poised to meet the surge in demand with festive specific campaigns and experiential marketing and consumer engagement initiatives, he said we aim to bring our extensive range of innovative and stylish products like Upmods and Kreation X3 introducing personalization and durability for modern Indian homes thus catering to the rising demand for quality home and office furniture for Telangana and the southern region.
With the upcoming festive season starting in October, we anticipate a significant increase in sales, reaching 30-35 percent of our total revenue from the southern zone, Sarkar said.
“We aim to generate revenue of around INR 180 crores from Southern India in FY25. By enhancing our network and introducing new products tailored to consumer preferences, we are poised to capture a larger market share and drive substantial growth,” he said.
Godrej Interio's kitchen business in Telangana has generated around INR 10 crores annually and anticipates a 20 percent growth in sales to reach INR 12 crores in FY25, driven by the growing demand for modular kitchens and the booming real estate market in Hyderabad, the Senior Vice President informed.
The brand will be introducing 10 new exclusive kitchen galleries in towns across Telangana by 2025.
To capitalize on the upcoming festive season, Godrej Interio is offering a special consumer scheme with discounts of up to 35 percent and a chance to win free furniture. The brand aims to attract a significant number of customers and generate INR 5 crores in sales from Telangana alone and INR 18 crores from the southern zone during this period, he added.
