GOC 14 Corps, DG BSF briefs governor about security situation in J&K

Srinagar, Sep 18 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir Governor Satya Pal Malik on Tuesday was given a detailed briefing about the security situation and other matters by GOC 14 Corps Lt Gen Y K Joshi and Director General of Border Security Force (BSF) K K Sharma, a Raj Bhavan spokesman said here this evening.
He said Lt Gen Joshi met Governor at the Raj Bhavan here today.
Lt Gen briefed Governor regarding the situation along the Line of Control (LoC) and Line of Actual Control (LAC) which fall within the Area of Responsibility of this Corps.
