Goa to host West Zone qualifier round for Santosh trophy from tommorrow

Panaji, Feb 8 (UNI) The west zone qualifiers round of the 70th Senior National football championship to be held in Goa from tomorrow.
It has a vital importance, as two top teams among 5 teams viz Goa, Maharastra, Daman & Diu, Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh will be qualified to the final phase for the Santosh trophy to be played in Nagpur from March 1 to March 15.
Goa Football Association (GFA) President Mr Elves Gomes along with team head coach Alfred Fernandes interacting with the media persons here today said, the opening match will be played between host Goa and Gujarat tomorrow at Nehru stadium Fatorda in south Goa, followed by Daman& Diu v/s Madhya Pradesh on February 10 and Gujarat v/s Maharastra on February 11.
