Goa’s Tanisha wins Gold, Silver at Junior Nationals Badminton

Panaji, Dec 30 (UNI) Goa’s Tanisha Crasto emerged with a haul of one Gold and one silver medal at the conclusion of the Yonex-Sunrise 44th Junior National Badminton Championships 2019 at Rajahmundry, Andhra Pradesh.
According to a statement from Goa Badminton Association here, Tanisha along with her partner Ishaan Bhatnagar from Chhattisgarh won Gold in Under 19 Mixed doubles defeating top seeds Navaneeth Bokka and Sahithi Bandi 21-18, 21-13 in a thirty-four minute tussle.
Tanisha, who was vying for double gold, however, had to settle for Silver in Junior Girls Doubles as she and her partner Aditi Bhatt from Uttarakhand failed to cross the final hurdle.
