He explained that Goa needs to move away from heavy industries to a greater focus on the services sector and the IT sector, both of which are sustainable and environment friendly. But this kind of growth needs good politics. Mr Yechury delivering a talk on the topic ‘Bad Politics has made for Worse Economics in India’ began his talk by explaining that politics and economics go hand-in-hand. The two can’t be separated.
