Goa Guv extends Diwali greetings

Panaji, Oct 17 (UNI) Goa Governor Mridula Sinha on Tuesday urged people to re-dedicate themselves to the principle of ‘live and let live’ and pledged to work for promoting peace, communal harmony, good will and prosperity.
In her greetings to the people on the eve of festival of lights Diwali, she said,''Diwali dispels darkness and brings light – the light of selflessness, t0ruth, humility, happiness and peace. It is the festival restatement of the belief that the good ultimately triumphs over the evil.”
She urged the people to re-dedicate themselves to the principle of ‘live and let live’ in the great country and pledge to work for promoting peace, communal harmony, goodwill and prosperity.
