Goa Govt signs MOU with GIM to carry out vocational training for ITI trainers

Panaji, Sep 19 (UNI) Goa Minister for Industries, Trade and Commerce and Skill Development Vishwajit Rane on Saturday said that Directorate of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Goa Institute of Management (GIM) to carry out vocational training for ITI trainers to enhance their skill set.
In a tweet, Mr Rane said,''Happy to announce the Directorate of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship & Goa Institute of Management has signed an MoU to carry out vocational training for ITI trainers to enhance their skill set. Grateful to GIM for helping us augment the soft skills of our ITI trainers.''
He said the training would primarily engage ITI trainers in industrial production and services executed under the Craftsmen Training Scheme (CTS).
