Goa govt likely to commission another 250-300 beds & over 150 HFNOs in Super Specialty Block of GMC

Panaji, May 12 (UNI) Goa Health Minister Vishwajit Rane on Wednesday hinted that the state would commission another 250-300 beds and more than 150 HFNOs in the Super Specialty Block of Goa Medical College (GMC) and Hospital.
In a tweet, Mr Rane said held a discussion with Chief Minister Pramod Sawant in this regard.
''Had a detailed meeting with the Hon'ble Chief Minister @DrPramodPSawant today evening. We discussed commissioning another 250-300 beds & more than 150 HFNOs in the Super Specialty Block. In our continuous efforts to reduce mortalities due to Covid-19 in the state of Goa, we will also be working on adding more stringent measures to be put in place. Our team is working persistently to contain the surge in cases and to bring the virus under control,'' he tweeted.
