Goa Govt declares holiday on Feb 15, 3 days state mourning

Panaji, Feb 14 (UNI) As mark of respect to the departed soul of Goa Deputy Chief Minister Francis Dsouza, who passed away on Thursday, the state government declared three day mourning and ordered all state government offices, local or autonomous bodies, public sector undertakings, all educational institutions, including the aided institutions, to remain close on February 15, 2019.
A notification to this effect was issued by Under Secretary (GA-II) late evening.
As a mark of respect to the departed dignitary, three days state mourning will be observed throughout the state from January 15, 2019 to January 17, 2019.
