Panaji, Apr 17 (UNI) Independent MLA Rohan Khaunte on Saturday alleged that the Goa Government was compromising safety and life of Goans by delaying border entry restrictions.
In a tweet, the former minister said,'Goa Govt is Compromising the Safety & Life of Goans by delaying Border Entry Restrictions. The 2nd Wave & its dangerous double mutant variant needs to be isolated out of Goan borders while ramping up vaccination.'
The coastal state reported 927 fresh cases of Covid 19 and six deaths on Friday. There are currently 6321 active cases in the state. Till date 65,499 people have been found Covid positive in the state out of whom 58,310 while 868 have succumbed.
